Opening: the first weekend of May. The idea for a book and music store was born out of the belief that the time has come for Wakefield and its surrounding areas to be served by such a business. Solstice will carry new books, fiction and non fiction and children’s books in English and French, as well as a small used book section. At the beginning, music will be mostly comprised of musicians who have played at our local Black Sheep Inn with lots of room for growth. Solstice will also have journals, calendars, cards and other book and writing paraphernalia. Special events and community participation is one of the main goals of the venture. If you have any ideas or special requests just let us know. And if you read about us here, mention it and get 10% off your purchase.
